Re-handling my BK10LE

So I started my re-handling project, already ive modded the bk10 to be more of a bushcraft style knife, now on to the micarta handle.

Step one was to gather everything I needed and dye the fabric I'm going to use to make the micarta.

I'm going for dark green as a liner next to the knife and brown for the bulk of it.

Next I just need to wash out and dry the fabric.

I want to try some linen or burlap micarta myself. Ive just done blue jean, bought some green ''blue'' jeans the other day at a yard sale...gonna see what they look like. I know they sell camo burlap for constructing hinting blinds, gonna find some of that too.

Maybe it didn't turn out. I bet it's more likely that the big 'ol fat Mickeys in the pic and the one before he started and the one after is to blame!
