Frequently, I see posts here from people who have upgraded to gold or platinum, or forgot to pay before their membership ends and they "blued-out" and have paid, but now they are asking about when they will turn gold/platinum/asking for it to be done. The a MOD or someone else tells them where to go and what to do (politely, of course.

Is there any method in the forum software where when a gold or platinum membership is paid, an email or PM is automatically dumped into their in-box telling them to "click on settings........permissions group....and do xxx"?
If this could be automated, it would eliminate at least a few housekeeping items from the MODs' duties and reduce member frustration by them receiving specific instructions on what to do.
