I recently bought a MTech Xtreme MX Cutout Folding Pocket Knife/Dagger.
It is a knife knife but did not come with the same sharpness as other knife's in my collection. I have one other MTech folder, a MTech Xtreme Black Slotted Folding Pocket Knife, half serrated and it is sharper. I have never sharpened a knife before. Is there a knife sharpener that you recommend? Also, I realize this is one of my less expensive folders, do you consider MTech Extreme USA (made in China) a decent line of knives?

Mtech is not very highly regarded on these forums. I have a couple from my first couple of months of knife collection but there are much much better values for the money. You can get a KA-BAR folding hunter for cheap as well as the whole Byrd line is under $50. Most of it under $40.
