I just purchased a Mini SOCOM from Knifecenter with the date 4/2002 on the blade. I inquired about that, and was told they have been re-released, and for $100.00. They come in the new style cardboard box instead of the fitted cases from the earlier models. ANyone else know if this is a permanent thing or if it's limited run?
