let me say that-
there are some discussions in progress
and they are not fast easy discussions as
there are many things to work out ->->->

exactly how it will be listed or titled,
rules of posting the forum,
how to enforce the rules,
who will be moderator of that forum,
what will the powers of that mod will be.
not to mention what the programing issues of accomplishing it can be!
others that keep their heads on straighter then i are involved
i am deferring to them and have only contributed as needed...

all of you guys and gals are most welcome to post
YOUR thoughts on the subject!!
i encourage you to in this thread as that also
acts as a BTTT were all can see it and
contribute as they think of things..

that way thoes involved will see it easily and
thus will know what you the
members and users of that forum would like to see and
can discuss what CAN and what CAN NOT be done for that

so i am not in that now at this stage as
there are others so much better at that then i,
i was simply the crasy guy that stirred the pot of dreams ...

OK, let's start with "what will the fees be for selling on Bladeforums.com/Buck whatever"??? Will it be a percentage of the sale, or a flat fee???

I think there has been some agreement that for right now, it may be better to not push too hard and let the powers that be digest and mull all of this over.

There is little doubt in my mind that these threads are being followed. The one where EEE is tracking the new additions is probably one of the most important ones at this point. Maybe we need to make an effort to keep it at the top for easy visibility.

It has been a few days now since the 40 so may be time to drop Spark a note simply saying that we have easily gone over 40. Just as an fyi in case he hasn't had time to check in here.

And like I said in the sticky post, I believe we can recruit even more Gold.

Remember, that only Gold will be able to participate in the Buck, as well as the BF exchange buy/sell.

You have paid your fee Trax..... You went Gold..... Same as selling on BF exchange.

It's my understanding that all registered members can buy (in the existing/present Buy & Sell Forum) but only Gold+ can sell...is that correct or not???

you are dead on trax free to buy or trade , gold or better to sell

Correct.....

Spark has the rules for the exchange posted. I wouldn't see it any different for a specific Buck exchange. I think Selling is the key point.

I think we are all aware that it would be a hardship on you to be involved in the administration of the new Forum, and it is only proper that Spark appoint his own trusted followers to the posts required.

Personally, I have a "wait and see" attitude. But since I have gone Gold, I may post a Buck or two in the existing For Sale Forum, just to see if there is a real interest in Buck sales...

...Just to show how "dumb" I apparently am...I thought the separate Buck Sell/Trade forum would only be open to Gold members whether it was to BUY or Sell...I was never intending to sell anything anyway...Oh well...Live and learn...

but it is impossible to stop someone from buying even though they may not be gold , all they have to do is send a private email
and as far as the selling it always has required a gold or above
ps i see they have received my payment and upgraded me to platinum :thumbup:

maybe not but that would take more work when they set it up , it should be very easy for them to set up a section here the same as the existing one in the buy,sell,trade section
and as far as moderators or such , i dont think there should be the need for that either
if you are selling you post , if someone wants to purchase they post , otherwise no posting in that thread , pretty simple
