Since Randy has locked his original thread, I'll have to start another one to say a huge "Thank You" for picking me and my knife as the winner! I never expected to win over such stiff competition with a new knife.

I took these to show the scale of the 124. It's not the biggest that I own, but it is a meaty beefy thing. I'm showing it with a Case large trapper and a Buck 110 for comparison.

That's bigger than I though from your original pic. Putting other knives with it for scale helps me get an idea of the real size. It looks like a brute.

I liked it so well that I have another one coming next week. Buck really did a geat job recreating the original model. Here's another picture showing the new one (top) and old original one (middle) and one (bottom) done using customer furnished parts, and built by Buck's craftsmen at the factory. You can see definate differences in it and the first two.

Wow, my first issue of Knife World arrived today! How cool this is, I have reading material for the rest of the day and more.

I want to thank Randy once more in public for his generosity and for picking me to receive it.

Thanks agin Randy!!!!
