I randomly pick out specimens from my collection of do-dads for routine maintenance. Today it was on this USA made ebony handled 'Schatt & Morgan' pocketknife. I believe the steel is 1095 carbon, and believe it has carbon steel liners/iron bolsters. I also believe it was from the S&M Heritage Series Collection (remakes of their historical specimens). Anyhow, it was gifted to me by a forum member here a couple/few years ago ( named "Zippofan" )

I haven't seen Zippofan around the forums for quite some time. Hope he is doing well and keeping them sharp.

Nice Schatt! I believe all the information you posted above about the knife is correct. How do you like it?

I too sure hope he is doing okay.
As for the knife, my just being a collector of such dodads, I like it very much. Up until Zippofan gifted me this knife, I only had Queen/Schatt & Morgan knives in D2, 420HC, 440A, ATS 34, and I believe one in 440C... But none in the 1095. So, this was a nice addition. It also entered the collection as a received gift, and that adds a lot to any dodad I own.
