I see soooo many people posting questions about sharpening. Not a thing wrong with questions, because thats how we learn. But, if you want to know about stones, or what you should buy etc. Read a little into some of whats been covered already. You just might find it. Explore options dont snag the first thing that sounds good.

Agreed but it is sometime nice to ask a question before searching so you will be pointed in the right direction.

I know before I was good at sharpening I would ask questions and the answers provided me with great video and reviews.

Now I can sharpen a knife to where it can almost cut something. Before I just had to stab everything.

Every topic has been covered in depth in this forum. So if we only ever searched for old info there wouldn't be any new posts or conversations. :) I don't like it when newbies are jumped on for not searching first. They are new and asking legitimate questions. We can certainly link to in-depth threads to help them, but we should never make them feel they shouldn't ask.
