So I'm looking for some model numbers for some Terzuola fighters for another forum post. I grab the first old Cutlery Shoppe catalog I come to in my file, turn to the Terzuola page (great knives by the way), and on the opposite page is a slough of Benchmade balisongs at 1993 discount prices (if you are standing please sit down "for your own personal safety"):

Model 10 $63
Model 68 $81
Model 45 $112.50
Model 48 $112.50
Model 239 $39.50
Model 259 $39.50
In the words of Bruce Springsteen, "that's all I can stand".

I've got a big stack of BM45s (the National Balisong Strategic Reserve) that still have their price sticker on 'em: $89.99.

I got (5) 45's for $70 each in 1996..., at the Great Western Show. I actually stood and argued about the price too  The dealer was just "dumping" them, and had about 15 more! Oh the pain of hindsight!

"Hunters seek what they [WANT].., Seekers hunt what they [NEED]"

Now this is getting just plain rude :D. While I was collecting knives "back then", my interest in balisongs is more recent (unfortunately). I can remember walking by the BM table in front of the stage at the Eugene show a few short years ago, and ignoring the closeouts of all the balisongs on their tables (oh, that's nice). This was before the 42 comeback, of course. I can see no other course of action but to make up for lost time, with the current bumper crop.
BTW, isn't the NBSR federally funded, and as an American tax payer...
