How long has it been since you have read the FAQ's? For me I hadn't read them since I registered with BFC so long ago.:o :(
The other day I was asking Nasty a couple of questions and thankfully he did know the answers, but later on I read a post with the address of the FAQ's posted so I went for a short visit that turned into a long one in a very short time.
There has been many things added to the FAQ's that probably many of us read a long time ago if we read them at all.
And lo and behold the answers to the questions I had asked Nasty was in there in plain sight.:eek: :foot: :o

So if you haven't read the complete FAQ's in quite some time it may behoove you to do so. And be sure and read the complete FAQ's and not just a part of them.
There were many things that explained a lot of how and why BFC is doing the things they're doing as well as why we mods have to do the things we do at times....

Thanks Yvsa, It's good to know where to find the info if i don't know the answers(keeps me out of the mods hairs:)). But it also just goes to show you that sometimes common sense ain't so common.
 
Like them or not, the FAQs govern what Yvsa, Yangdu and I must deal with.

Oh...yeah...they govern you folks too.
 
Well I see that around 80 or so folks have looked at this thread and hopefully enough of them have re-read the FAQ's if it's been a while, or that it hasn't been all that long ago since they have read the FAQ's and that they have seen all the changes over time and or at least skimmed over the FAQ's once again.:rolleyes: ;) :p :o
I'm going to try to make it a habit to read through them quickly at least once ever six weeks or so I will become more familiar with them and to be able to keep up with anything new that affects me as a sweep up and general fix it guy here same as Nasty and Yangdu.:foot: :)
In order to know how to do a job you have to stay up with the changes and if you are a guest in someone's house you have to know what is expected of you while you are there.

Yeah, but you get around enough that you pick them up by osmosis. I keep trying to know everything, and the universe consistently proves me wrong. :cool:
 
I'm still trying to just get to know everything about *me*. :(
 
Thanks Yvsa! I _had_ read them over 3 years ago and thought I had it down, but there's a bunch of new stuff in there that was new to me.
