I remember there was a thread comparing ATS-34 and 154CM. What I am trying to pinpoint is that it was discussed in that thread that 154CM was more prone to imperfections in the metal of a finished blade than ATS-34. Can anybody tell me why the 154CM is more prone to imperfections? What are these imperfections called? The reason I am asking is because I believe I have a custom knife with 154CM blade steel that has two imperfections, and they feel rough when I rub my fingernail across them. Big D1
