just found a bunch of absolutely gorgeous colored anf figured redheart at a local lumber yard. it is beautiful shades of reds and very highly figured.

Just out of curiosity, how hard is it, and what does the density compare to? The one piece I've got was very nice looking, but quite soft and light, almost like pine or straight grain walnut. I've got a piece of it in the stabilizer now, it should be out next week. we'll see how it hardens up.

The redheart is $15 a foot. most is4-5" wide some is 7-8" wide. all beautiful figure and color. let me know what size piece you want.
