Imagine the Kasper-Crawford Fighting Folder as a Spyderco MBC collaboration rather than from CRKT. Instead of the CRKT's bead-blasted AUS-6 blade and Zytel handles, with Spyderco's satin-finished VG-10 or CPM-440V, and Micarta (like the custom) or G10, and a Spyderhole (as above) instead of a thumbstud.

Anyone else shedding a few tears?

I haven't shed this many tears since my wife made me watch "Steel Magnolias"! You'd have to be a robot not to cry!!!!
"Lassie, come home!" & "Sleepless in Seattle" rolled into one!!

I've had more paper cuts than cuts from knives, but the knives are QUICKLY gaining!

Take a look at the Buck Crosslock 'Yachtsman'. Otherwise, the ionfusion would work better for corrosion resistence.

That would absolutely rock! Alas I am sure that CRK&T has the KFF sewed up.

Another Crawford design would be cool or maybe a Lightfoot.

Hi all,

Glad to see that I'm not the only one.

I should note that the scan is from Arizona Custom Knives. It is a Crawford-made version of the KFF with ATS-34, titanium bolsters, and micarta handle, and as we see with a Spyderhole. The second I saw it I thought, "It should have been a Spyderco!" You don't even have to change the blade's shape for the hole!

Alas for what might have been...

Yesss, we wants it in our pocketses, come to Sgian Dubh my Precioussss.
I think most of us would strangle a Hobbit or two for one of these. Will we ever see one? Is it too late, did CRKT beat Spyderco to it?

Hi Carlos. That looks just like mine except mine hs no bolster and is fully serrated. Pat & Wes made it for me last year. They do nice work.

They are now working on my Kelly Worden "Wortac" with a hole and teeth. These are for my personal collection, but Pat is licensed to make customs with our hole.

I saw that knife on Arizona's website a few weeks ago and I really liked it. I ordered a CRKT (don't tell Sal) large Kasper last week and the minute I got it I started working on it. Here are some links of some pics of it. I will post a final picture when it is finished. I am trying to figure out what kind of material to use for the handle.

CRK&T's version is good for its price point but Spyderco could have done a much better job.

A Spyderco Wortac wouldn't be bad.

I saw that KFF scan on the arizona website yesterday. It's the first real custom folder I really really really want! I really gotta finish my studies and get a job, fast!!!

*sob!* Uncle Pat making them spydies on his KFF? That's not so bad... *sniff!* I'll meet the Crawfords to put a round hole on a Wortac! *hee-hee!*
