I just received my Cutlery Shoppe Pioneer X Exclusive. The shade of green is nicer than expected.

I can’t take good pictures. I’ll take it out in the sun and see if that helps. It is a beautiful tool.

it is a little smoother than my silver Pioneer X. I guess someone took extra time with it.

Now, on to find an adventure.

I’m sorry for the terrible pictures. I’ll try to get some better ones.

I really like the Pioneer X and this one is particularly nice.

I haven’t cut anything with it yet. I plan to resharpen it first. It is good and sharp, but I like a bit shallower angle and hair popping sharpness.

That is a beautiful knife. I have several pioneer variants and love them all, really thinking about picking up an X. Do you find that the scissors are used enough to justify the extra bulk?

I use the scissors most of all. I used them last night to cut a bandage. They are incredibly useful. I enjoyed my original silver alox Pioneer X so much I bought this Cutlery Shoppe exclusive. There are some other green ones out there, but not this shade. it looks better in person than I can photograph.

Anyway, the scissors make this worth it. I make a leather pocket slip for it and carry it in my pocket. It is much handier than a bifold type multitool.
