Started out with old Carbon V Cold Steel thrower, end up with this. Added jimping, rounded top side of end of tang for Ergos, made forward finger choil. Improved second finger choil and made the thumb ramp more rampy. Enjoy

Oh yeah almost forgot, also took off blade coating and convexed the edge and gave it that cobra stitch, Stridery, 550 wrap. Not bad for a week of thinking and 45 minutes of work. Hole above the choil is for wrist lanyard, now I need to get my hands on some Kydex!

How was the finish under the coating? I've seen some where the finish underneath was incredibly rough, almost as if the coating was more to cover up something.

I will try to get a pic of it up soon. To answer the question. It has very fine machined lines, from spine of blade to the edge. they are so fine I can hardly feel them. But you can see them if you look at it right.
