I'm sure there are a bunch of threads about this already but I couldn't find what I was looking for using the Search.

I was wondering if anybody out there sells simple edge covers for the Cold Steel hawks? As they're mass produced, what fits one Rifleman should fit all Riflemans, correct?

Anyhow, looking for a leather cover for my Rifleman, Spike, and Norse 'hawks. Would prefer a toggle and thong closure but a snap would suffice. Don't need any belt loops (I generally keep it tucked in my belt). Also, not terribly concerned about protecting the spike on the Spike hawk, just the edge.

Thanks.

Hey there BB, That spike is an engineering trick when it comes to covering it, at least if you want it to fit nice and snug and look great too. I was designing one and someone bought it before the spike got covered.;-))

I currently offer sheaths for the Cold Steel Trailhawk on my website.

B.G. Leatherworks

Within the next month I will be releasing sheaths for the Riflemans Hawk, Norse Hawk, and Frontier/Pipe Hawk.

That's some fine lookin' leather, Goose! And at a reasonable price, too!

But, as of yet, I do not own a Trailhawk. I'll definitely keep an eye on your website though for future models.

Anybody else?

Really?!!? No one else makes generic sheaths for the Cold Steel tomahawks?

Don't be shy. I won't laugh. I promise. Whatever you're making has got to look better than the cardboard and duct tape that I'm using now.;)

Yes. Cold Steel does make one but it looks to be... ummm... functional. At best.

For $14 its a reasonable step up from cardboard and duct tape but I am looking for a little more craftsmanship.:)

I make a kydex cover for the trailhawk.

Made one myself with some leather and some rivits. Make couple of paper and tape templates, tweeked em a bit then made the leather one. Nothing pretty but sturdy and gets the job done. sorry no photos...
