Here's four I did for a very nice collection of Curt Erickson knives. All Wickett&Craig with various inlays. The snake is Prairie Rattler. The rest include Alligator (Black), Crocodile (Brown) and Beaver Tail also Brown.

Paul.....beautiful as always......the rattler one is really "striking" !!

Not sure if all the inserts mimic the blade shape but the snake skin must. It's like a preview of whats inside. Makes me want to get to the shop and quit procrastinating.

That reminds me Paul.....I'm about to "borrow" that retention strap design on a project.

Go right ahead, Rick. I got the original idea from a rubber band "quick fix" It really works well when you don't have a really good anchor point for a strap.

Markb, as a matter of fact, the inlays do follow the shape of the blades on these sheaths. The inlay is generally more narrow and shorter than the blade.

The one on the far left - I see you used Black on the edging. What do you use?

As always - they are all awesome. Just perfect.

Tal, the only one with black edges is the black sheath. The rest have dark brown. I use Feibing's Professional Oil dye to color the edges and then they are
subjected to the same top finishes as the rest of the sheath, TanKote and NeatLac. I DO NOT use edge dressing. Can't stand edge dressing. Won't allow edge
dressing in my shop.
