I may need some help of some other CRK people, i recently picked up a large insingo from a fellow bladeforum member. (came with box and birth card)

Birth of the knife is OCT 17, 2011 s35vn
The handles of the knife seem real but the blade feels and looks funny. Ive handled my fair share of CRKS so i usually know how they feel.

1) the finish on the blade is extremely shinning, almost like a mirror.
2) i coulnt picture it but the blue thumb stud isn't fully seated against the blade. i can see a little gap.
3) the back of the thumbstud its just looks off. could somebody post the back of there 21 thumbstud to compare.
4) when i took the knife apart the blade just felt too light. if somebody could tell me the weight of there Large insingo blade i can compare. i have scale somewhere in the garage.

It's a user .... but blade looks perfectly fine/real to me.

I am no expert on fakes, but I just got a brand new large insingo from an authorized and trusted dealer, and other than mine has a silver thumb stud, the blade looks the same as mine.

What "feels" funny about the blade? You should also be contacting CRK about this and not asking people to be taking apart their knives and potentially violate any type of warranty. CRK can authenticate this.

Isn't that the one that's in dispute right now called "4 months too long for a refund?" with the blade being sharpened to death in the Good Bad Ugly? If that's the one it's real.

sebenzas come with a allen wrench to take apart for cleaning, taking it apart doesn't void warranty.

Doesn't look over sharpened... could be right tho, sometimes it's tough to tell...

no defiantly not that knife. different knife.

Hopefully the seller doesn't see this thread. Considering it came with the birth card, and the expense of fabricating a fake blade that fits real handles--I'd be offend. Let's just hope you gave him the courtesy of a PM as well, and you were polite with your unfounded accusation.

the buyers knows about this thread. i posted this thread to get people that may know more about crk knives than me to check the blade out of its authenticity, not to get your unnecessary opinions on the situations.

If the knifes checks out to be fine. I will happily keep the knife and apologize to the seller for any false accusations.

Opinions are opinions. Many are unnecessary, many are not. Your opinion that a blade is fake because your professional weight estimating fingertips think it to be a gram light of a regulation dime bag, I think is unnecessary. I don't think that makes you a bad person, just a bit foolish and quick to jump, again that may be an unnecessary opinion. Opinions are what you came here for in the first place, if you wanted facts you should have went to CRK. I like opinions, they are way more fun to play with than facts. I think we may be peas in a pod bro.
