Hey guys! I'm new in the knife world, and I've grown a fondness to Emerson knives. I'm not sure if this is a correct place to be posting this, but I was just wondering if this is a real Carnivore or not? I haven't seen any with black scales like this, only with the Richlite Handles. The one in question is the one with the black scales. It looks the same, but I can't seem to find any info at all on the black scaled Carnivore! I saw it on an Ebay ad (for $500....) and got confused when I saw the black. Could someone clarify this for me, please?! My curiosity has risen. Thanks!

Here is the one directly from the website.

Ah, perfect! Beautiful knife, and great photos. Thank you very much for replying. Finding photos of it has been troubling. Even on their website, I couldn't find it in that version. Have you found it difficult at all to clean the handle from food? The Richlite handles look like they might be easier in that circumstance?

Oh, and if you're cleaning the blade, try to avoid brushing on the logos and other markings. Sometimes they'll fade, unless you don't mind.
