Real cutlass wall hanging?

I have a cutlass with a real blade (sharp) I want to hang.
Any suggestions on how to wall hang this with its accompanying leather scabbard?
The obvious requirements here are that it be secure yet somewhat easy to remove (just in case). Product suggestions (and of course photos!) appreciated.

I use a lot of sheet rock screws. This picture is kind of dark but you get the idea. Two screws for each horizontal. Then two swords apiece above each wall with the points just wedged into the door trim. Another panel of antiques hung vertically and that is nine hung in a panel 18" wide. Another ten or so medieval hung on single screws via a small loop of cord. Others hanging vertically from baldrics or sword bags either on coat pegs or more screws.

If the scabbard has hanging rings, they can do so from screws but other wise I just perch them on a pair. Sheet rock screws make pretty small holes and can be easily spackled.

I was thinking of hanging the sword separate from the leather scabbard. I'd lke to hang more eye level (if possible) and am leery of it falling. And then those pesky kids....

You might consider the ready made military sword presentation cases if kids and pets are an issue. Those will mount to a wall like a picture frame, be entirely encased and away from fondling There is enough depth in them for deeper cup hilts . They run under $100, iirc. They could also be placed on a table or even be made into a coffee table. There are also corner cupboard such as you would see in a dining room and they can be altered by removing shelves. Hanging the sword separate (for me) just means more screws. I store some scabbards separately in a drawer.

Google sword presentation case.

You have not shown your's or previously set qualifications so it is a bit like playing blind man's bluff.
