Real Delica 4? Seems legit but I'm not 100% sure.

So I found a small lot of knives at a flea market a couple of weeks ago which included the Delica 4 and I was really closely looking at it for the first last night. Everything about the knife seems real and exactly the same compared to my other Delica 4 expect for the Spyderco VG-10 stamping on the blade. The Spyderco logo is also a bit off. I still think it’s a real Spyderco but the stamping is a bit different form my known legit Delica.

My prior thread on the Flea Market find - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1405539-Texas-Flea-Market-Score-I-think-I-did-OK!

** Flea Market Delica is on the right **

Is this correct? Maybe it’s just an earlier stamping with a slightly different font? As mentioned above, everything else seems to match exactly to my other Delica. Just wondering if this is truly a real Spyderco and wanted to get some expert advice from the forum. I know they fakes are getting better and better.

Thanks,

Aleforme

Awesome. Thanks for the responses. I just started down the Spyderco road about about a year and half ago so hadn't seen the earlier font in person yet.

Any idea about when they stopped using the earlier style script?

I also notice the grinds were a bit off but I think the previous owner did this. The tip is a little rounded but still sharp.

Thanks again.
