So I collect weapons right... but I want them to be real... not made of zinc or hollow, or just show pieces. So does anyone know where I can get real flails and maces? I own a Cold Steel Mace and War Hammer and they are great... but I really want that spiked ball looks. But everything I see is hollow balls, or cast zinc, or composite materials... I want a steel ball the size of a softball with big pointy metal spike all over it. Is that too much for a girl to ask for? Any info or addresses would be of great help. Thanks.

I will add a third recommendation to A&A. I owned one of their spiked maces talk about a tenderizer... LOL
They make the same version as a Flail.:eek:
I have the Horseman's Axe and it's quite wicked....

Totally go for the A&A if you can afford it. I've heard some really great things about the Windlass maces if you don't mind a flanged design that's not quite as ritzy. I really want the German one. :) Click.

They have a march special on a flail but I may pass it by because the one I have pictured is really the one that caught my eye. It just looks so bad with the large spikes.

My weapons collection is so odd that I actually have a "board with a nail in it" as a weapon in my collection.

LOL, I'll try and take a few this weekend. It's nothing special at the moment. Very small, but I'm branching out into melee weapons like clubs and flails and such. I would love to find a giant spiked club that's like 20 or 30 lbs and about 6 feet long.

A&A is top notch. I have a few of their swords and can attest to the fantastic research and workmanship they put into their weapons. But just to offer another option, a Czech company, Lutel, offers a wide variety of war hammers, maces and flails. I know many satisfied Lutel customers and have handled a couple of their medieval swords. They make very good quality swords with just a bit less fit and finish than A&A but at a cheaper price.
