ok i got this pict here of a one liner..
some how it seems .. well " odd "
it is the only pic i got of it, so ...
what do you guys think ...

real or sanded ?

Well Dave...nail nick looks bigger and deeper...than on the ones I own....and....placement of the nail nick is back on the blade further than on mine; it's more in line with a later 3rd Version or possibly a 4th Version. You know you really need to view the frame to make an assessment, but you bid and let us know if the "USA" has been ground off;)

Didn't we entertain this question once before? Anyway, the consencus was that it was a mis-struck die on a one liner.

i belive this is not the same knife..
IMHO this is NOT the same seller at all..
the seller of that other one has not showed up on ebay again to my knolage..

this seller has a 112 also that he say's is from the "early 70's" and it is from 79.. so he is mistaken on one ...
i think it is a strong likely hood that it is sanded tang...
i will ask on picts of the bolster ends..
the nail nick i had not noticed !
that is why i like this place ...
you can ask any thing:cool: and get answers! :D
me bid ? ! naw.. got a one line already .. ;)

I have one like that as well...

Two small-headed brass scale pins; brass backbone pin; brass spacer...The blade looks just like in the pic; long top edge; nail nick is in the same place and the same size...Letters in BUCK are ~5/32" high, read point down; letters in the "U.S.A" underneath are ~3/32" high...

...Somebody is fishing for suckers... :D

Here's a [lousy] pic of mine -

...Is that one being auctioned a Real One Liner Buck???...You decide... ;)

(But it looks to me as though the bottom of the "BUCK" stamp on that auction knife has been sanded/ground, too) :grumpy:

Hey Dave - When that auction ends, post the link so we can see who was selling it... ;)

well i would but... i did not keep it in my watch list!
will have to find it again..
has some wording like rare or one line in it..

yea Dave,
This all sounds familiar. If I remember right, I had a brilliant answer that explained the whole thing..... Now if only I could find it. :)
The rear spacer type is the last piece in the puzzle. It would also help to know about the blade rivet and the rear bolster rivets...are they visible on both sides?

have looked again for it and it must have sold on buy it now..
had a BIN of like 70$ ...
oh well who said there is a sucker born every min.?
