Real or fake help!

Hi first time posting on Buck knives forum, need little help.Friend of mine gave me this knife for sharpening and he said he has no idea which one is it.Has no Buck logo on the blade,3 pins,stainless logo only ,closed length is 5 and 1/4 ",blade length is 4 " with cutting edge being 3.5".As you can see the opening nick is a little different than the one on Buck 100 series.Anyone with the answer what kind of knife this is.Is it some vintage Buck or some fake copy.Thanks ,help is greatly appreciated.Cheers.

Its a copy from the looks of the picture.

It's not marked claiming to be something it's not so it's not a fake, just not a Buck.

I don't think I would call it a fake but it is not a Buck knife.

Thanks again everyone,my buddy was hoping it would be the Buck but now he can't wait to get a real one.Great knives with great history.
