The pivot looks pimped. Other than that I agree ^^
The oversized pinstop on one side was probably put on to make lock rock go away.

Email Josh at Strider knives and see. They might have done the stop pin. Otherwise, just use it and if something breaks, send it in with UPS or Fedex.

Will that stop pin void any warranty work?

Actually, in my opinion, that stepped stop pin proves it was worked on by Strider because that is exactly what they do.
Simply because I have never seen a fake with the stepped stop pin, I'm gonna say real.

I do wonder about the female side of the handle hardware though. Doesn't look right. It should look like this, if you disassemble.

If you got a "smokin deal" on it, it might not be authentic. People always come here asking where the best place is to buy Strider knives. They sell for the same amount at every online store almost. There was even some guy on eBay a while back selling Striders that he customized and sold as "custom Striders". I emailed him through eBay and told him he was full of poop, and that I had also reported him for falsely advertising a production knife as a hand ground custom.

Does repeating myself make me unoriginal? I don't recall anyone besides myself posting this in the past. Please link to original if I'm wrong. I got a lot of ego tied up in being original.

Making fun of Strider on BladeForums... yeah, I'm sure you are the first to do that.
You make my Strider sad. He gets enough heckling from my Spyderco. Though, they both team up to make fun of my Microtech. Poor guy gets no love.

Thanks for quoting me here. If it wasn't for this I would have no clue about what happened to my posts from last night. They don't alert you, evidently, when they promote your posts to Whine and Cheese. I mean yesterday was National Scotch Day but I knew I didn't partake so much as to imagine I made some snarky posts. Your quote prompted me to do a search and I found them and, glory be, my senility is still very much debatable.
