Real or Fake

fakes are for the most part made of the model that is selling the most. not sprint run where most people don't want to spend for times the worth for the same knife. somebody...just like you will question and undoubtedly check a lot when they receive this to see if its the real deal. where as somebody buying a regular PM2 will think its real cuz they just want a good knife. not a uberfancy collectable. its ebay so send it back if your feel its bad. personally i find that carbon fibre not bling enough. best of luck.

The knife seems real but, on the label, the "Paramil 2 CF CPM154/S90V" seems strange.

I don't have any sprint runs but comparing to my other Spyderco boxes, the font is much larger and more verbose.

My PM2 just says "Paramilitary 2 Blk", my Endura just says "Endura Flat Ground Blue", and my new Native LW simply says "Native 5" (why not "Native 5 FRN S35VN"?).

thanks for the welcome sal.
when in doubt...doubt some more and don't bother. i watched a video where they talked about the font on the side of the box being thinner on a fake. be patient and you can almost find anything...eventually.

Then there's the fakes in a real box and vice versa. The bar code, foam, papers. How about focus on the knife.

Bought one from sooner state knives, had my suspicions until reading here ( a dlc blade and camo handle)...also just bought a brown pm2 (s35vn) from www.lighthound.com it is super smooth and appears real. Has anyone ever bought from Lighthound or sooner state knives, please tell me they are reputable dealers! Any input is appreciated.
