Hello all. Long story short, I sold my Strider several months back and started to miss it so I decided to find another. I ended up buying one on line, (non supporting dealer link removed) In looking at the stamping on the blade I'm starting to wonder if it's real or not. Can I please get some help? I just mailed the check out today so if it's a fake there's still time to put a stop payment on it. Thank you very much.

Since you're not supposed to link the non supporting dealers, not sure if GB falls under that rule. But people are lazy, so can't hurt to have the pictures in the thread as well :)

Please do not link to dealers that are not Bladeforums supporting dealers..

Looks real, but based on the steel stamp and USA stamp, I wouldn't buy it.
The C I'm CPM is too big, same with the S.

Oops, sorry about posting the link. I didn't know. Thank you for posting the pictures for me, that was nice of you. So what do you think, legit Strider? Thanks again.

If in question definitely buy from an authorized dealer. Does it come with a box, paperwork, etc?

It’s never too late to stop payment.

Do yourself a favor and stop payment.

Do yourself another favor and don’t buy a Burger/Strider. Buy a Hinderer, CRK, a pile of dog crap, but don’t buy a Burger/Strider. It’s never too late...

This is getting ridiculous, I would have a hard time telling that was a fake. Thanks for posting it, and thanks to the guys here that know there stuff!

The seller says he bought the knife from Blue Line Gear and that it came directly from the safe of Ryan Johnson, the owner of Blue Line Gear, to the seller's. Say's it's guaranteed authentic. Not sure about box or paperwork. I haven't received the knife yet. Thank you.

It looks real to me and i believe it is. Strider's reputation pretty much speaks for itself, but the SnG is a hell of a knife.

It sucks they make some fakes so similar it's hard to tell. Best to buy the legit versions from authorized dealers for piece of mind. One thing I'm told about the fakes is the pocket clip is really easy to bend back. So if you get it and can't bend the clip backwards that it nearly brakes off... It would be real.
