Real or fake?

Buddy of mine got this from his father in law and asked me if it was legit. I’m not familiar enough to make a distinction, but at a glance I’m thinking not legit. Just doesn’t look right. Box has foam inset and magnetic closure.

Took the clearest pics I could get. What do y’all think?

Thanks fellas. I knew y’all would know without a doubt. He didn’t have high hopes, lol! I’ll let him know.
 
Screws, primary grind, edge bevel, machining of the handle slabs, packaging...just about everything just screams "fake" here.
 
What’s sad is whatever company made this could be easily be making some good original designs. Other than the blatant theft, it looks like a well made piece
 
So, you’re left with one question: Whose head are you going to put in a headlock and noogie?
 
The torx hardware and only having a solid head on the show side pins are the first things I look for in a newer CRK when trying to determine if it is legitimate. There are other things to look for, but those are quick

Me? Nobody. It’s my buddy’s knife. His wife’s dad gave it to him. I highly doubt he’d do that to him!
 
A copy, and not a very good one. Front side close, but backside nowhere near correct.
