it says spyderco auto in the descripyion . Looks kinda cheap to me . What do you guys think or know ? Thanks

First, I have never seen a Spyderco folder without the opening hole.

Second, Spyderco has never to my knowledge made an auto.

And third, Spyderco always marks what type of steel they use.
 
Spyderco did actually make a folder without a hole...the original Jess Horn.

I'm carrying a spyderco co-pilot today. The type of steel is not marked on this one.

I've seen what might be a relative of the auto above. No spyderco marking. Wood only on one side and clip on the other. Chinese made, looked cheap but had excellent mechanism and reasonable quality blade. I'd buy the one I saw at the right price.
 
Dang, too bad this isn't a thread in W&C... it would have a much different topic.;) (with lots o' pics too!)
