Real or synthetic handle?

Good afternoon everyone,

I was recently given this knife that belonged to my grandfather born in the 30’s. I don’t have any information on when it was purchased or where, but I am looking to see if anyone might be able to tell if this is a synthetic handle or genuine antler. Thanks in advance and much appreciated!

Nope, and I'm not signing up for some iCloud service either, and most people don't want to be clicking on links to see pictures. Use Imgur or some other free image hosting service so the pics will appear in line in a manner that everyone can see, like this......

Definitely synthetic. Knife is probably 60's - 80's, at least that's when the bulk of that style was being made.
