Anyone have a pic of their S1 Commemorative.
I'm thinking of buying one but for the cost that metal better have been properly polished before they blued it .
I won't buy a blued Ruger for that reason.. The old ones were right but then they hired Stevie Wonder for QC in the finishing shop. :grumpy:

Can anyone post a closeup or even just tell me if it's a TRUE mirror blue, like an old Colt Python or S&W from the seventies ?

I don't have a photo for you, but I can say that the bluing is beautiful with a high gloss look. "Mirror"...don't know. But certainly stunning!

The Recon Bowie is also a stunning knife. And the bluing on the Recon Bowie is equally as stunning as the knife. But it has a little less "sheen" than the S1 Bowie.
