Hello,
Need your help in identifying a real Strider vs. a clone. Offered the opportunity to purchase what's purported to be an older, used Strider tanto SNG (at a price appropriate for the age/condition). It doesn't have the lock bar over travel stop and has the old Bos heat treat stamp on the blade. Researched on-line for clues and besides looking at the Strider logo and counting the # feathers, inspecting the blade lock engagement for a curved vs. flat engagement and the pivot pin what other tell tale signs are there?
Thanks,
Sam

Buy from trusted source for piece of mind.

One thing for sure is the pocket clips will bend back and break off lul.

Well the mystery is over, it was a fake Strider. Upon physical inspection there were numerous tell tale clues but the most striking was that the handle wasn't even titanium (magnetic)!!!!

Ah, so no lock rock then. A good lock-up gives them away every time.
