I found nothing likeable about the knife.
I don't care for the handle at all -- I prefer either metal or polymer-type handles, not natural (i.e. bone, wood, leather, etc.).
I don't like the narrow, uh, what do you call where the blade narrows to meet the handle? It may be strong but the look is flimsy.
I don't like the blade shape, which is useless for stabbing.
The grind of the edge looks like it is done very sloppily: there is a slight recurve to it that I can't be sure is even intentional. The bevel looks very sloppy and uneven in the pictures.
This part also concerns me (clipped from the listing):
"Note: Kydex is a space age polymer that is one of the best available materials for knife sheaths. The material is super strong and is unaffected by weather, body fluids, corrosive acids etc etc. It holds the knife securely and attracts no moisture . It has one unavoidable drawback, a RC hardness of 90 which means it will scratch knife blades. The scratches can usually be removed with steel wool and will not damage the knifes use ability but if this bothers you, ask about a separate leather sheath available at additional charge."
I have never heard that Kydex has a "RC hardness of 90 and will scratch knife blades." Is this true?! I have several neck knives and I believe that the sheaths are kydex (on at least some of them). I know that kydex is tough and resilient and chemical-resistant, but I have never heard of it scratching steel.
People, please... the guy uses the term "SPACE AGE POLYMER" in his description of the sheath! What are we to think??
