Really hard to find old models

In the past, I have seen pictures of models that we dont have here. Does anybody know of a place that still might have those models such as the yellow snap-its, or the yellow model with the "catch " on the end. I've tried ebay, John F. Jensen, a couple of the japanese shops and others. Sal or Joyce, or any other forumites who can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, asking around here might reveal a few rarities, however, if they want to sell is a different matter.

I've had good luck with eBay and the saved search function. While it may not be available right now, eBay will email you as soon as one appears.

For the really rare items, it's a hit and miss affair.

Have you checked Hamonoichiba? They have quite a few not available in the states. http://www.hamonoichiba.com/products/spyderco/sp_list_e.html
I have ordered here a while back. The yellow catcherman shows as being available. Sometimes AG Russell has 'special' models available like a red snapit.
