so far i really like it . you have to look at it like it is a machax not just another big knife .if kabar made it any thicker they could have ruined this awesome design and imo this one is perfect.

Hmm...

I refuse to believe you.

You don't have any proof with pics that you have it so,

POINH!!!

sorry i cant post pics . i mostly lurk and learn but thought i would share .

sure ya can. easy peasy. course, you'd need a camera or something :)

the older Blackjack models were thicker, just a bit. imho, those are nearly perfect ;D

i actually just got a camera not long ago but im a bit unsure of myself and not very computer savvy . im sure i will need help when the time comes but on the other foot i sure would like to hear more of what people think about the machax and how the latest model compares to the older models though . thanks bladite in advance for all the help youre going to give me when i get this camera working!

Congrats on the Machax purchase. I love mine as well. The perfect outdoor chopper.

What? Everyone else said it. I was feeling left out. :D

ive called in reinforcements . my wife and brother said they would help post the pics and my brother will shoot the pics and vids for me. i live on almost 30 acres and have way too much bamboo so if it looks like full metal jacket meets little house on the prairie i apologize.

Once I get a 9 or 4 I really need to get up there, bamboo is fun!

if you dont mind digging the roots up youre welcome to come dig some up to take home and plant. it will take over though in about 2 yrs and then you have a forest. think vietnam in your back yard

I had an idea to limit them, basically a metal flower box under the ground, but my Mom just told me to say "No thank you" and as we speak she's looking for a rope to strangle me with...

I personally wouldn't mind having a bamboo forest, complete with attractive native women of course, taking over my yard :p

I think this is the best Machax we've seen yet. Its thin, svelt, has the right curves, and still whoops ass.

My first impression when I saw the prototype, is, "Well, this ain't no warclub". Some of the other one's I've had over the years, seemed to really get thick. And I can see why, but thin cuts, and this guy, is a powerhouse.

one things fer shure ,somebody did thier homework and got it right .

That would be the Tooojfluence (real word, look it up).

Paul "Toooj" Tsujimoto has worked with Ethan to bring new life and better technology to the BKT line of knives. All of them, have been trimmed, beefed, and all around bettered up, because the Mar Tempering process, will give you some tough steel, without the added metal to strengthen it, the Heat Treat takes care of that. So, what we are seeing, is some thinner, better balanced blades, that are as tough or tougher than the ones that came before.

Not to say the BKT predecessors were bad, these are just that much better. :D

I like the new/old blades, but its the future, my eyes are on.
