What are some of the most "out-there" knife design concepts you've run into? For me, it's probably the Van Hoy snap lock. I actually owned one of these several years ago and really liked it, I almost would like to get a custom knife maker to craft a blade out of a high quality steel to use with the frame.

What's suprised you in the world of knife design?

The ZT 0500 Mudd folder looks like something you would see in the Terminator series.

i just got the urban camo cause it for some reason reminds me of something from my childhood like i've seen the pattern somewhere before plus i wanted the blade coating for rust protection. i was between the urban camo or the all silver

I wouldn't say this one is too weird, when it's closed maybe. ( couldn't find my closed pic)

This? I don't even know what the hell this thing is at all. Could be a can opener built in some secret lab for all I know.

It's definitely a Mantis of some kind. I don't care enough to find out which though, lol.

It's a weird looking little knife for sure, but I like it. The only thing I don't like is the massive profile when closed:

I mean, really. For that size blade, that's got to be annoying to try and reach past when it's clipped to your pocket.

Also, I'm pretty sure that Mantis is the Micro Smatchet®
