This is a very average piece of Osage. The reason it looks great is that its quartersawn. (You can check this. Make sure that the growth rings of the tree are perpendicular to the blade steel.) This is how Osage should be cut. The figure and rays are actually present in every piece!! Most guys plain saw the wood, and it looks like plywood. Yuk.:barf:

It'll never work! These fat, curvy handles are too rotund, the poo would just roll off onto your carpet! Ha!
