Reason for my bad attitude

This is OT but this is the only forum where I care to chat with people.

I'd like to apologize for my bad attitude lately. Here's my reason for being a total dick to everyone. About a week ago my long time girlfriend had a miscarriage "her second". when it happened she also attempted suicide and without a doubt this has been the roughest time of my life... and it's going to be a long road back to anywhere near normal.

Sorry if I have been a ass.... or am one in the weeks to come. They put me on a anti depressant today... maybe it will work.
 
Best wishes to you and yours, Jay. Don't sweat those posts last week, I've said and done much worse while oging through less than you are dealing with.
 
I know from personal experience that what I'm about to say will sound like a crock of ****, but...

Things WILL get better again! Have faith, brother, we're here for you and your GF. :thumbup:

Throwing big knives at trees is an excellent anti-depressant. Try it.:thumbup:

Hacking on the trees is also good. Seriously, what you need is to get out and occupy yourself with something to clear your mind.
 
I'm truly sorry to hear about everything that has happened recently Raden. My and Ms.Carla's thoughts will be with you and your girlfriend. If you ever are down and out and need to vent, you know we are all here for you bro. Keep your head up. I know you and I haven't really chatted before but, if you ever need to talk, feel free to drop me a pm or email.

I have heard of some really amazing things done by fertility doctors.

If that doesn't work, there is still adoption.

You will have a much better chance adopting if you don't have knives all over the place. I can hold your Busse's untill your child is 18. It's the least I can do.

The wife and I will keep both of you in our prayers.

We experienced the miscarriage thing after several years of trying. It was the closest thing we've had to having children. Makes mother's and father's days really tough.

Sorry to hear it. I know just how you guys feel. It's years ago now but we had two miscarriages and one of ours was born quite premature and died within the first twenty four hours. Honestly it still hurts me and the wife still feels it strongly even today. HAd my little girl been born that premature today they would definitely have kept her alive. I don't know which way is better. You never know what the future holds. Who knows what's best? ANyway hang in there. It gets better.
 
Mate I wish you and your girlfriend all the best and hope things get better soon. I know how bad it can get when depression is involved. Hang in there mate.
