Reasonably priced knife storage option

Hello,

I currently store about 12 knifes in a small locking box with an internal divided shelf. I'd like something which can grow with my modest collection and which protects them from banging about.

I saw this rolling bag online. Do people have good experiences with something like this? I don't really want to display them, just organize / store / protect them.

(Sorry if posting the URL was improper. I am not trying to shill for the merchant.)

Thanks,
Michael

Something like it? Yes. A soft sided rolling knife storage pouch will do a fine job depending on your needs. If you want to stick a bunch of knives in it and store them on a shelf somewhere they are fine, but obviously they are not water proof and only slightly shock proof.

Some serious collectors I have seen use hard sided suitcase-style boxes packed with foam that has cutouts for each knife. These are waterproof and if you should need to throw your collection down a flight of stairs, they would probably be protected. Pelican cases are the most common I have seen (and many are lockable)
