First off, let us give thanks to Rea Te.

After Speaking To Rea Te in a few different messages and email.
They would like to work with me and do a Pass Around to show the quality and function of the new knife that they have designed. Either Horizon A or B. In the mean time I will be speaking to Morrow and setting up an appropriate Pass around with strict guidelines as per usual.
They will decide which knife/knives they would like to use and send it to me at the end of the month. They will chime in here as well as in the Pass Around to showcase the new product.
These folks really want to make an impression and be a wonderful asset to our community.

In the mean time, you can check in here, and If not I will bump it when I add the link to the Pass Around. This is NOT where to sign up, I will let you all know as soon as I post up the thread and there it will explain how many takers. I am currently working on the draft for the Pass Around and then giving it to ReaTe and Morrow for final approval. There will be more than one pass around as we go along.
Like I said. They should have the product to me , and have this going by early April. With the sign up very soon.
Thank you,
Matt

Sounds great, I hope to be able and sign up on the passaround list. I am enjoying the pass around, as you get to test and experiment with the blades and write reviews. It has also been fun doing some video reviews on them.

Exactly, that is why they decide to go for it and let us use a knife for the cause.
They are very confident in the product, and feel that everybody will love it.
They want some honest and positive reviews for everybody to share. That certainly says something.
Matt

Ok I will notify both of you as soon as I am posting it up.
Like I said for everyone, Sign up will be as soon as I post it up in the Pass Around forum, with link here shortly there after.
No body will miss a beat.
:)
Hope this helps the folks that are excited and will give some insight and information to those who are skeptical.
See you guys around.
Matt

Sign me up Matt, I would like to check out one of their knives.

This is relevant to my interests; I'm always interested in new manufacturers that use quality materials and high tolerances. I have two keeper Kizers that alternatingly ride sidecar to my Sebenza - all made from the same materials but with a stark price difference between the Kizers and the Sebenza.

And the Kizers are smoother, probably because of the ceramic detent ball. I haven't handled a Sebbie 25 (mine is a CF inlay large 21) so I can't say if those two ceramic detent framelocks are comparable. They are, however, certainly smoother than the Umnumzaan I had.

Not saying one is better than the other, though. Kizer has the price advantage, but CRK has the precision and the warranty.

I'd like to get in on one of these too, I have been having an awesome time with the current pass arounds (somehow addictedtogeargear and I seem to be passing knives back and forth recently, I have his address memorized lol) so I'll keep my eye out for the sign up for this one.

I'm in! (he says, knowing full well that this isn't the sign up)

I would love to see the knife and give honest feedback. Hopefully he (or she) is sending a preproduction model so feedback can tweak the final model. I just know that I well miss the sign up like I always do.

Great to see they're standing tall and open to our suggestions on feedback about their knife. Shall be looking for the sign up thread

Attention those doing reviews via the pass around:

In addition to regular review points, please take some comparison pictures with what you think is best and/or ask for input. If you can do actual measurements so much the better. Not just the regular specs but overall width and thickness which for me translate to its potential for EDC.
