Reate PL-XT lock won’t release

Hey folks, hope everyone is well.

My new Reate arrived yesterday, and I’m a fan. However, this morning my blade remained deployed and will not release to close. The safety/lock mechanism slides to the left and right but still the blade will not fold back into the scales. I’m looking for some help to see if I’m missing anything, but…you know, I don’t think that I am. Any help would rule the world.

Push down on the button while rotating clockwise to tighten it down. Don't go too tight or it also won't work well. I returned mine because the constant adjustments from just fidgeting for a day were annoying.
