Anyone use a rebound tester similar to the VTSYIQI Leeb Hardness Tester Meter for testing Rockwell Hardness? Thoughts? I am a noob making my first knives, and I'd appreciate any input on this type of tester. Thanks.

No, a Leeb tester will not work for knives.

Look up the testing requirements for why

"Minimum of 1" thickness needed"

Rockwell hardness testing is used for rockwell hardness values, pretty straightforward.

If you look up all the different hardness testing methods, procedures and testing requirements you'll begin to understand why Rockwell testing is the best choice.
