I received a weather radio on Christmas that was supposed to have some great features but never picked up the National Weather Service signal well. I should have returned it but didn't- figured I wasn't doing something correctly. This AM our newspaper ran a notice on 66,000 being recalled. Info is at www2.oregonscientific.com/recall-front.asp. Maybe this will help someone else.

I have owned 2 of the Oregon Scientific weather radios. The first was a manual tuning model that never worked satisfactorily. The other was a pocket model which worked OK for a while then heated up and stopped working... tried to get them to honor the warranty but was turned down flat because it was a few weeks past the warranty period.
