Please post comments and pictures of your charges as a form of appreciation and tribute

LM discontinued the Charge?!? 🤯😳 Figures. 🙄
Surprising the 300/Super 300, and Wave have not been dropped. They've been in production for what? Near 30 years?

TTI Plus that I received as a living inheritance in 2021. (Sadly he passed in June of this year. ☹️)

Bit Set #1 was/is missing 2 bits.
Bit set #2 was missing. I don't know if it was included with the tool when new.
I bought the replacement set #2 in '22. At the time LM was out of set #1.

DIY chain lanyard (30" OAL, swivels @both end) ensures it does not get dropped or left behind.
I use the built-in/hidden lanyard mount. somewhere I have the clip-on mount.

I had to fact check before posting this to make sure I wasn't talking out of my donkey
But yes, and I believe apart from the charge being recalled, products like the wave plus, alpha, Arc, and surge already here its hard to imagine where the charge would fit back in if they fixed the proud tip and put it back in production

A possibility I overlooked.
I was thinking of the popular Micra and related "key chain"/pocketable size, that were dropped with no new like size models to replacing them.
My former co-driver carried the LM keychain/pocketable pliers based tool. I don't recall if that was the Micra, or if the Micra was the scissors based model.

I would like to see a slightly larger Micra with a locking spear point blade. And I wouldn't say slipjoint designs are falling out of favor but aside from the bond, the Micra is the last one, and LM users want fuller sized tools. I'd wager if rhey brought back the pst with locking blades it'd be a hit. A slim and pocketable design definitely has its value in our always-on-the-go society

I do love the Charge TTi. My wife got me one for my birthday a couple of years ago, and it's the perfect blend of useful and high (enough) end that I could pretty much just carry it and nothing more and be more than covered for my needs.

I suppose the Arc does kind of fill that role.

I sold my TTi shortly after I got the Arc. I don't miss it. The Arc does everything I want a Leatherman to do, and it's easier to use. New blade profile is great, outside opening tools, one hand use, good toolset for me - it all comes together. It solves all the little problems and annoyances I had to work around with the Wave and Charge. The Alpha looks like it makes sense as an upgrade if you really don't want the Free system, or if you like the G10 handles.

The Micra is the keychain-sized scissors-based tool, and it's the only small one they make anymore. I got one for my wife. It's well made, but you can do pretty much the same stuff with an SD Classic in a cheaper and smaller format. The Squirt line was their keychain tool with pliers (or wire strippers). Sad to see that one go. The Juice series was intermediate in size; I never got to use one but people seem to have loved them. Can be found on the bay, if sometimes for exorbitant prices.
