3.5" - 4" blade
Holes preferred, but Studs and disks are okay.
Under $120 US (general price)
Expect for the Spyderco Military.

Just about any Spyderco custom out there.
a couple of my favorites are the Lum Tanto and Howard Viele model.
Or the AFCK.

Al Mar SERE 2000...I am REALLY pleased with the pair I have!

Just ordered one last night, should be here early next week. :D
Been waiting for that damn knife for months !!

I'm pleased with the performance of my BM722 tanto point. 154 CM blade, micarta handle (scratch resistant, and really tough), axis lock (reputedly can withstand 800 lbs of pressure).

But I'm pretty sure other makers have nice knives too for the price range. Al Mar SERE is another suggestion. A major working knife that one, and very cost efficient.

Benchmade 710HS, top notch folder, you won't be disappointed.

beluga, you've got mail on that mini se m/a....I gotta have one. hear from you soon.

The Mini Socom Elite is very very mini.

I think that Benchmade AXIS locks are the way to go at the moment since sypderco isnt making any full size compression locking folders, and microtech is more or less out of the manual action buisness. You could try out the Dominator, or the buck mayo, or wait for the full sized buck mayo being talked about.

If i were going to buy a folder today it would be a BM520.

I'll second that. I'm real impressed with the BM 520. When more people see it, I think it'll be a big seller.
