I am down to the ZT and now need help with deciding b/t the 200 or the 350. You guys were alot of helping in narrowing it down to this point and i appreciate it. That said, what are the positives and negatives of the 200 and 350? Is the s30v significantly better than the 154cm? The prices are throwing me off in that I figured the 350 would cost a little more b/c of the speedsafe feature and the s30v. Anymore help is greatly appreciated.

I think you should start with the 0200 , it is awesome and is closer to the true ZT style than the 0350. You won't be disappointed in the 0200.

Dave

I’m not the biggest fan of AO, so I’d go with the 200. Also as mentioned above, with the huge pivot and 3d textured g10 its more “ZT”

I went through a similar decision making process recently. I finally narrowed it down to a ZT being my next (er, make that second) top of the line knife (to compliment my Emerson '8) only to get stuck between the 200, 30x and 350.

I have decided on the 0200 due mostly to price, size and lack of speedsafe.

I've read about everything that has been written about it on this website and virtually all of the feedback is outstanding. The only "complaint" I see much of, at all, is size/weight. But, as they always say, if a BIG, TANK of a knife (relative to pocket folders, anyway) is what you want....it's perfect.

Hopefully in a month or two we can compare notes. :)

Yep, the 0200 all the way! Might want to look at the bead blast version exclusive to Knifeworks. I have both 154CM and S30V blades and in normal use I can't tell a difference.

If you really want the AO, go with the 0350. If its not a deal breaker, the 0200.

Just FYI, the liner locks measure the same on both, a hefty 0.075.

It's true that the 0200 is more ZT-like. The sculpted handles are superior. It's a little bigger than I'd like, though.

For edc, I'd probably go for the 0350 and make new handles for it. For hard use, the larger and heavier 0200 would be preferable.

Phillip, where's that pic of the polished G-10 slabs you were working on for the 0350? That made a huge difference in the appearance of the knife!

EDIT: Nevermind. I found it!

Oh wait, I did.

You really couldn't go wrong with either.
I edc an 0350 and love it.
I have found no problems with it.

As for differences...

Sometimes, you just need a folding knife. The 0200 is a professional-grade, folding combat knife built to survive harsh, real-world conditions. It features an innovative recurve blade designed for multi-tasking versatility, minimal mass, and maximum performance. The blade design provides ideal leverage in tough cutting situations and a precisely centered point to handle piercing tasks with ease. The blade is 154CM stainless steel with Tungsten DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) non-reflective coating. Open the knife one-handed using the ambidextrous thumb stud or blade protrusion. 3-D machined scales in G-10 provide a secure grip and top mechanical strength. Handle is drilled to accept a lanyard and the knife comes complete with a quad mounting system for tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip carry.

In response to customer requests, ZT is proud to introduce the new 0350. It’s slightly smaller and slightly lighter than the 0300—10% to be precise—but just as aggressive. The 0350 is fully equipped with SpeedSafe® for one-handed assisted opening. Even in combat gloves, you can easily deploy the blade using the large, ambidextrous thumb stud or blade protrusion. The blade is S30V stainless steel with Tungsten DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating. S30V provides extreme durability, while the black Tungsten DLC is non-reflective, enhances hardness, and reduces friction drag. Textured, matte-black G-10 scales provide a secure grip. Includes a quad mounting system for tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip carry.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Made in the USA
Steel: S30V stainless-steel with Tungsten DLC coating
Handle: Textured black G-10
Blade Length: 3-1/4 in. (8.25 cm)
Closed Length: 4-5/8 in. (11.75 cm)
Overall Length: 7-7/8 in. (20.002 cm)
Weight: 6.2 oz.
(actual weight is about 5.8oz according to my US Postal scale)

Good luck in your decision.

J.W.

i think you decide based on weight, handle feel, if you really want speedsafe, and finally looks...

i like both; i got the 200.

depends on if u plan to edc it all the time or if u want a larger knife.i like the 350 better for edc or light tasks. it's smaller and i like s30v over 154cm. i have a 350 and a 300 like them both

Everyone I work with loves it. I took it to the gunshow today and my dealer friends all loved it. People around the knife tables were comparing to factory 350s and they loved it. I hepled close the deal on 2 ZT sales!
