A friend on the forum was cleaning out a friend's space and found a few traditionals. The first is a Utica Cutletry in this interesting yellow pearloid, I don't have pics up of that one yet as I spent part of my evening working on this little gem.
It came in excellent condition. It had no bevel and was dull so I put an edge on it with some stones. I worked the pivot a bit with some mineral oil as it's pretty stuff. I stropped the edge on some fine grit sandpaper and then began polishing the blade. I need some more time to work the edge, I would like to thin it out some more but all in all it was an awesome gift. I have found that my favorite traditionals are the tiny ones that I can carry with me to work. And this one certainly fits the bill!
Can anyone identify the steel? Tang markings are AA Klein Tools Chicago. It has some sort of imitation wood handle.
