I posted on another thread about the excitement building for my Kailash Blade order. I ordered and received:
Left to right.
1. Socket Bowie
2. Regent Bowie
3. 11" Panawal
4. 17" Panawal
5. Fort William MK-1
6. M-43

So far here are my thoughts
1. Socket Bowie: In one word - TANK - this is a surprise. It is built tight, sharp and has a very nice heft to it. I really do like this style. Based on this feel - I have ordered a socket khukri - as a twin blade to this
2. Regent Bowie: In two words - Elegant Fast - this has real sleek lines with a wicked edge. Really like the handle and the feel in the hand. I stabbed into some cardboard - wow - went in deep...
3. 11" Panawal: very nice. I have always like large knukris - but this one might be changing my mind. Going to give this to my daughter as she hikes out in California. She will like the speed and edge on this
4. 17" Panawal: I swung this around and it feels real nice and dangerous. This would cut through and damage anything in its way!!!!
5. Fort William MK-1: If you are on the fence about getting one of these - do not hesitate - run to the site and order one of these. It feels solid in the hand, light quick and just cut a couple items and went through them effortlessly. Great example of the work they can do
6. M-43: Cleaned it up - held in my hand....It wants to move and cut....The feel in the hand is comfortable, the blade is light but solid. I could see grabbing this or the Fort William - it there was chaos in the streets and had to protect myself.

My thanks to Kailash Blades for making these blades that have a unique spirit and feel to them.

Very nice - especially that Regent Bowie!

If you get a chance to post some action shots that would be awesome.

Something about the Regent Bowie just sings to me, can't explain it. I don't NEED one, by any means. But, I have one on order, they should be starting on it soon!

I like how they go out of their way to keep you updated, and to make sure you get exactly what you want, not just what somebody thinks you paid for.

So glad to hear you're happy with the order! Quite a wide range of what we offer as well. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and the wait process.
Large khukuris definitely have a wow factor but I think the format really shines around 10"-13". So much capability for that length of knife compared to straight blades. Expect to see a few more refined designs in this length dropping over the next year.
Take care,
Andrew and the team at Kailash
