Amazing service, sent the money order Friday and got the package today. A friend happened to be here when I opened the package and was suitably envious. Even my wife, a quilter who suffers my indulgences, was impressed with this blade. She wants to make a sash for me to carry the scabbard. I must say that I am mightily pleased and would not have noticed the blemish unless it had been pointed out. Auntie, please send my best regards to Lachu for his work. It is a heck of an introduction to kukuris for me.

The 15 inch blade and 17 oz weight are perfect for my garden activities and for chopping ivy on the trees in the park we are fortunate to have as our back yard border. The belly and tip are slicing-paper sharp, and IMHO the work, including the leather-lined wood sheath, is first-rate. Here's a pic with a Brit ensemble. My new laptop screen background. Internet pointz for the first correct firearms IDs.

Forgot to include images of the markings and BRASS INLAY. Subtle beauty. Can anyone help with translations?

Enfield MKII?? Wild guess, and a Webley? Don't have time to do research so just a stab in the day light as it were?

I'm curious. I better start working on my speech just on the million to one chance I'm right.

Devangari Script for HI

Left Side - Kami mark of Laachu and his initials in Devangari.

Thank you, Karda. Much appreciated.
The long gun is a 1899 Lee Enfield Carbine in .303 issued to the Royal Irish Constabulary. The revolver a 1918 Webley MK VI, uncut in .455 Webley. "Elegant weapons from a more civilized time."

Fine looking rifle ,knife and kukri.I have a 1917 Enfield but sporterized so nor worth that much (looks good tho).Very nice looking kukri and a comfotable weight sounds like. Congrats, got my first HI cak 2 weeks ago . Look at it every day and speculate about more purchases.

Webley breaktops. My absolute favorite revolver ever and possibly tied with an original Colt 1911's as favorite gun over all. Btw did you know that Colt made 1911's for British issue in Web .455 auto MkI cartridge. beautiful set pictured there ClarksRifles
