Received my AD10 today ... Big problem

I bought another AD10 from Amazon in Canada. I figured there are no counterfeits out yet. It seems too early for that. I bought it as a gift for a worker in our lab.

It took incredible force to open the knife. Now, I can not physically close it. The lock is sticky. But, it does release. The problem is the blade won't move in the handle.

The earlier AD10 I received is a work of art. This thing is a dangerous disaster.

Would you return it to the seller or try to contact Cold Steel?

P.S. I tried using a torx wrench to loosen the blade. The nut can't be budged.
 
High likelihood that it's a knockoff. Return it to Amazon and buy from a vendor.
 
So you can get the lock to disengage, and the blade still won't move?
 
I wonder if someone decided to cinch down the pivot to get it through Canadian customs and over did it.

That is a great observation. The pivot is SOOOOO tight, I can't budge it. I have tried to loosen the pivot with no luck. I'm sending it back.
